Switch to AX 2012 from Lawson get 50% off!
As part of the launch event for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012, it is being announced that a new switcher offering is taking place. This offering is focused on new customers switching from Lawson M3 or S3 products, with allowing a 50% discount in license cost! This also has some great revenue possibilities for partners, as Microsoft is allowing a revenue credit for Certified Lawson Consultants that get certified on AX 2012.
The official page for this, has been launched as well, which can be found here: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Switcher Offer
Some of the details on the offer, are highlighted below here.:
"To help customers make the decision to replace their ERP systems with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012, Microsoft is offering a 50 percent license discount to Microsoft Dynamics partners who process licensing orders for customers with valid licenses for Lawson M3 or Lawson S3 ERP products or previous versions of these products.
The initial order must have a minimum of one Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 server license and one user license and a total license value of US $100,000 or greater (or the equivalent in local currency). There is no limit for the maximum order size. Customers can order any combination and number of client access license (CAL) types.
The offer does not apply to the Business Ready Enhancement Plan (BREP) fees and is available from September 8, 2011 until June 22, 2012."
This is a great deal for Lawson customers that are looking to switch away from being stuck with a product that does not have a long term investment plan or road map.
