Thank You!

It's been over a week now since the horrible storms of last week, reck havoc across the south, and focused heavily on Alabama.

It's been reported as the worst in over 90 years, and the death toll still keeps rising.

Out of the ashes, and through this event, however, I have personally seen and also heard wonderful stories of people giving. Communities coming together to help their fellow man, total strangers giving time, food, money, and most importantly thoughts and prayers.

So for those that can't say this, for those that are affected, and to those that gave in any form or fashion and are still doing so.: Thank You!

Thanks to those first responders that did everything they could to save people, that dung people out from under the rumble and destruction. Thanks, to those that cared, cried, hugged and prayed with us all. Thank you, for those that donated time, money, clothes, food and advice for those that have lost everything. Thank you to the State Troopers, Medics, Doctors, National Guard, Red Cross, and all those trained to help in such situation for being there, and getting setup fast and ready to serve. Thank you to my clients who reached out, as well as the company I work for Sunrise Technologies. All of you, everyone of you that gave and cared, you are the heroes in this story.

In such events, it brings out the best and also the worst in some people. However, from what I have seen first hand, the good far out ways the bad.

So one last time: Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Well another Thanksgiving is upon us! Oh Turkey day - I come to slay thee! So a lot of food, family and friends. It is though a great time to reflect and look at all the blessings you have in your life.

You family, friends, and loved ones. Being able to provide for your family. Time together with those you love. So many things to be thankful for.

I for one am thankful for a loving God, YHWH - and Yeshua / Jesus Christ, or Lord and Savior. I am also most thankful for my kids and wife. They are the reason why I work hard. Then of course my friends, and family, including my Sunrise family. We have a really great time at Sunrise, and I am very thankful for being a part of them.

So what are you thankful for? What can you reflect on and what has value to you?

I hope everyone has a blessed and wonderful thanksgiving!

Turkey Week is upon us!

Well Turkey week '09 is upon us. It's time for eating, eating and more eating. Also time for being with family, friends, loved one's.

This is a time that we all should reflect on what we are thankful for. Those things, times, people, place and such that help make our lives, ...our lives.

So I am thankful for.:

1.) Must always place God, YHWH, the Creator on high. And the salvation that I have seen in my life.
2.) My wonderful wife, and two little Girls!
3.) Both sides of our family: Mother, Dad, Mother-in-Law, Father-in-Law, Borthers, Sisters, etc.
4.) The ability to provide for my family, by having such a great company I am a part of, Sunrise!
5.) The little things, and small seconds that come and go that bring ordinary happinesses and bright spots into our lifes.
6.) This Blog of course, and all of you who care, and sometimes dare, to read it.
7.) Alabama Football! Roll Tide! (Sorry have to be thankful for the Tide!)

There is a lot more of course, to much to list. That's the point though, being thankful, having good times, laughing, and not taking yourself to serious.

Well I have plenty lined up for some really great post. Doktool for Dynamics AX, thoughts from PDC this week, Cyber warfare and your Cloud solutions survival, and more straight talk on Dynamics AX!

But for now, lets all have a great and wonderful Thanksgiving! I might pop-in for one or two posts next week, but just in case I don't, may you have a blessed and wonderful time with your family, friends and loved ones. Even if you don't celebrate Thanksgiving!

Earth Day - Celebration of YHWH God's Creation

Today is Earth day. A day to celebrate the Earth, our home. Home to all humans, and lifeforms that make up this most awesome place.

I mean just think about all the lifeforms that exists, just as you walk outside in your own yard. Close your eyes and just try to think of all those livings beings. It's amazing, and can help keep you humble, and thankful.

On this earth day, let's keep focus and give thanks to the creator of it. YHWH, God the Father, LORD your God.

A great link of verses that can easily relate to earth day was composed by Samford University. The link can be found here: Earth Day - Relevant Bible Verses

Also one not mention there, but I thought was great to mention:

Joel 2:21-23 NIV:

21 Be not afraid, O land;
be glad and rejoice.
Surely the LORD has done great things.

22 Be not afraid, O wild animals,
for the open pastures are becoming green.
The trees are bearing their fruit;
the fig tree and the vine yield their riches.

23 Be glad, O people of Zion,
rejoice in the LORD your God,
for he has given you
the autumn rains in righteousness. [a]
He sends you abundant showers,
both autumn and spring rains, as before.

So on this Earth day, gives thanks to the one on most high. To the creator of all things. rejoice, and say aloud thank you for this day, that you have made of God.

I hope you all are able to have gotten some sun today, and can enjoy a little earth on this day.

Check back soon, and keep in mind... a whosoever.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Well another Thanksgiving week is upon us. It's time for gathering with friends and family. To talk and share our lives with on another. There's traveling to parents, in-laws, grandparents and such.

Turkeys, ham's, dressing, pumkin pie's, sweet potatoe pie's, etc. etc. It's a very distinct and food centered time of year.

So being thankful:

I am thankful for...
- The spirit and salvation that exists from my Creator, that is extended to all of us.
- My wonderful wife and two little girls.
- Our family on boths sides. Both Mom's, Dad's and brothers and sistes, etc.
- Having a wonderful work family called Sunrise.
- Being able to provide for my family.
- Having this blog to write and talk with all of you!

It's a great time to reflect... to enjoy those that are new to our families, and you keep in our hearts those that have went on from this world and on to the next.

May you have a safe and happy Thanksgiving!
